Happy New Year! To ensure the best experience for 2019, we would love to hear about your experience in 2018- what did you love and what did you want to see more of? At the end of January, we will be sending out a survey via email and would love your participation. Providing value to our members is a crucial part of our mission, and we want to make sure we are doing so to the best of our ability!

If you’re thinking about heading out to Denver this summer for OR, check in with us first! MOB is considering a larger presence in the form of a large Maine pavilion- something bigger and better than what we’ve done in the past. While details are still in the works, to find out more info and if you have interest in joining MOB at OR this summer, please email isabel@maineoutdoorbrands.com.

Throughout February, the Maine Outdoor Coalition is has curated a schedule of incredible outdoor events. From hikes and snowshoeing to ski clinics, ice climbing and more, check out their list of events to find one near you!

(Not to mention, their planning team includes two MOB event committee members: Kaitlyn Bernard of AMC and Nick Callanan of No Umbrella Media!)

Since 1987, the Land for Maine’s Future Coalition has conserved more than 600,000 acres of critical natural resources, expanding public access to the outdoors in all sixteen Maine counties.

If you’d like to help support their efforts to renew funding for land conservation in Maine, please add your name to their growing list of supporters. 

 

The Millinocket Century is a free bicycle ride designed in the spirit of the Millinocket Marathon, to bring another event to the area. Participants spend money in town and along the various length rides (25, 50, 70, 100 miles) through the Millinocket area, including Medway, Milo, Lincoln, Brownville and Howland.
