Exhibit with MOB and save!

Thank you to everyone who attended September’s Breakfast Briefing on Company Culture! We had a great show of people despite the rainy morning, and engaged in a really interesting discussion about company culture. Thank you to our sponsor, Bernstein Shur, and to Don Oakes (Sea Bags), Debby Olken (KMA Human Resource Consulting), and Ann Freeman (Bernstein Shur) for being on the panel.

Let us know what topic you want to hear about next!

Last month, a small team of MOB members headed to DC to lobby on behalf of the Land and Water Conservation Fund.

MOB advisory board member Jessie Gilligan (Blaze Partners) along with Simon Rucker from the Maine Appalachian Trail Land Trust and Kaitlyn Bernard from the Appalachian Mountain Club participated in the fly-in along with representatives from 15 other states. Through meetings with Senator Collins, and staff from the offices of Senator King, Congresswomen Pingree and Congressman Poliquin, they were able to reinforce the growing impact of Maine’s outdoor recreation economy and the ongoing importance of protecting our state’s public lands.
MOB is pleased to share the great news that as of this week, full, dedicated funding for LWCF has passed with the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee! The House Natural Resources has also put together a deal to advance permanent reauthorization. And although LWCF officially expired on September 30, we along with the many partners fighting for its permanent reauthorization with full funding are optimistic that our state leaders will take appropriate action when back in session.
We’ll continue to keep you updated on news and progress. #SaveLWCF
