Appalachian Mountain Club is the oldest outdoor group in the United States. Created in 1876 to explore and preserve the White Mountains in New Hampshire, it has expanded throughout the northeastern U.S., with 12 chapters stretching from Maine to Washington, D.C.
The idea for hüga came to be in the COVID Fall of 2020, when spending time outside was the only way to see the people we love. We being Jocelyn and Colin and our extended brainstorming team—our kids, folks and friends who keep us laughing.
In 1994, Steve And Angela started Map Adventures. Today, they share their adventures with you by making the best easy-to-use maps and guides. They hope that you too will discover the pleasure of exploring the outdoors with family and friends and dogs. Happy Trails!
